Celebrate Recovery (Windsor Road Christian Church) (2009 A,L)
This 12-step, Christ-centered, recovery program addresses all types of habits, hurts, and inhibitions. It is based on the fellowship of a caring community. It includes large-group sharing and small, separate-gender groups related to chemical dependency, and men's and women's issues. Meets Fri., 5:45-6:15 for fellowship and dinner and 6:15-8:00 p.m. for the meeting, Windsor Road Christian Church, 2501 Windsor Rd., Champaign.

The Champaign-Urbana Public Health District occasionally offers Freedom From Smoking classes. Please call Talia Shaw for class availability. Those who wish to stop smoking are encouraged to contact the Illinois Tobacco Quitline (http://quityes.org/ or 1-866-QUIT-YES) or the American Lung Association (http://www.lung.org/stop-smoking/).

Vermilion

Rescue Us Addiction Program (2015 A,L/P)
This group provides support for all addictions, drugs, food, pornography, etc., and is an outreach ministry to functioning addicts and adult family members, bringing them to the local New Testament church for help and support. It is also a strong discipleship program for the churched and unchurched. Transportation and childcare can be arranged. Meets Fridays 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 201 Frazier St., just behind First Church of Christ, Georgetown.
